Why is the Knarr better for offshore fishing than the Big Rig FD?

Wondering if anyone has tried the Play PE (plastic) boat? Looking at this boat as my only kayak that can do almost everything (touring, camping, rivers). I sat in a MV A-core and the cockpit fits me perfectly, compared to my current Boreal Design Baffin T2 which is too large.

cant wait to take my Esquif Adirondack out using this method.

I dumped my new canoe last night in a lake that was open water but half frozen last week! I wasn’t wearing anything special. I survived by jamming half a outrigger(in a bag I was gonna test later) under my waterbottle lanyard tied to my yoke and swimming to shore about 150 yards away. I was in the cold water easy 25 mins! It took til next day to feel normal. Very scary - LOTS of praying!! Thanks for video to make people aware!

For weight capacity. Make sure you back out the weight of the Kayak, seat and drive. From online specs, working weight capacity is approximately 400 pounds.

I appreciate the time you took with this video and hope that you will prepare similar videos for other Zegul kayaks. I'm sure that there is enough to say about them to fill more than the minute-long spots on their web site. Some of us are old enough to have longer attention spans. I hope to get up there for a visit, assuming the border is open again.

I have this pad (insulated long-wide) for 2 year, with several trips into Algonquin, crown land, and other provincial parks. Very comfortable and warm. I always release a bit of air after inflating to allow my hips to sink in a bit.

Thinking of going for the tactical sunset version, like the extra room and back support. Im a guy that if im to sit or relax i want to completely relax and not use any strength to sit up or hold myself uproght.
